Our Solar System

Our Solar System

The Solar System includes Sun, Meteorite, Astroids, Planets, Dwarf planets and the Kuiper belt.

The Planets

There were 9 planets in our Solar System. The 9th planet, Pluto, was discovered as a dwarf planet by a group of scientists at the Lowell Observatory including Clyde Tombaugh.

Dwarf Planets

Dwarf planets are small planets. I dwarf planet in the asteroid belt. Its name is Ceres. Most of the dwarf planets are TNOs (trans-neptunian object).

Meteorite

meteorite is a solid piece of debris from an object, such as a cometasteroid, or meteoroid

Kuiper Belt

Kuiper belt is at the very edge of our solar system. It contains largely of frozen volatiles (termed "ices"), such as methane, ammonia and water.
